French Fridays with Dorie: Provencal Olive Fougasse
Yes I know….I didn’t post all week! Excuses, excuses, but honestly I was catering last weekend and then up at my sister’s house and finally… I was hit with a nasty cold…ugh (I didn’t get the cold at my sister’s house…you could literally eat off their floors!) Any how… it’s Friday again and here we are for our online cooking club: French Fridays with Dorie.
This week we made a Provencal Olive Fougasse that reminded me of a pizza dough recipe. I loved the oil-cured black olives in it. It asked to finish with a sprinkle of sea salt but, I used my Whole Foods Mediterranean Salt Blend ~ I love this stuff! If you see it… buy it and you can sprinkle it on fish, meat, tofu, and of course veggies. I will definitely be making this one for my sister’s (yes they are twins, that’s not a typo) annual picnic and wine tasting!
